In this paper, long-term measurements and intensive campaigns from our rooftop laboratory are presented and combined with meteorological measurements and modeled air mass trajectories. We observed changes ion aerosol chemical composition with different air mass origins during the intensive campaigns. New particle formation events, which are a source of ultrafine particles, were observed mostly in spring, summer, and fall on days with above-average solar radiation and ozone concentrations.
