In October 2016, Andrea Pölz finished her studies at the University of Vienna to become a teacher for Physics and Spanish. However, her great interest for environmental physics made her attend a course of practical training in the aerosol group last spring which triggered also her enthusiasm for aerosol physics.
In our group, Andrea Pölz works within the ERC project A-LIFE, lead by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bernadett Weinzierl. In her thesis, she will perform airborne measurements to study absorbing aerosols (mineral dust-black carbon mixtures) in the Eastern Mediterranean.
