22nd International Conference on Nucleation and Atmospheric Aerosols (ICNAA)

From August 24th to 29th, 2025, the 22nd International Conference on Nucleation and Atmospheric Aerosols (ICNAA) took place at University of Vienna which was co-hosted by Prof. Paul Winkler from the Aerosol Physics and Environmental Physics research group.

The event commemorated 70 years of the conference series and 60 years of CNAA board and was organized as Green Meeting according to criteria defined by Austrian Government. The conference was attended by 178 participants from 28 countries and 5 continents. Overall, 100 talks have been presented on core topics of the series and special sessions including seven invited lectures, four keynote lectures and a public talk. In two poster sessions and multiple side events the conference provided ample of space for scientific discussion and networking. The planting of a conference tree, a full-day trip to Melk Abbey and Wachau and music performances constituted highlights that will have a lasting impact.
