08.02.2017

MSc Antonio Spanu has started his work as an Early Stage Researcher in the Aerosol Physics & Environmental Physics group at the beginning of July 2016.

Antonio Spanu studied “Mathematics” at the University of Pisa, Italy and obtained his Masters degree in 2009. Between 2010 and 2014 he had an INGV fellowship at Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, to study fundamental aspects on atmospheric transport of volcanic ash. From 2014 until 2016, he worked at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
In our group, Antonio Spanu is an Early Stage Researcher in the VERTIGO sub-project 13, led by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bernadett Weinzierl. He investigates the uncertainties related with aerosol mass concentration measurements from optical particle counters. VERTIGO (www.vertigo-itn.eu) is a multi-Partner ITN funded under the FP7 Framework “FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN”.
