The University of Vienna is partner in the cost action InDust. The main objective of InDust is to coordinate the process of transferring dust information to users as well as to assist the diverse socio-economic sectors affected by the presence of large amounts of mineral dust in the air. InDust involves a multidisciplinary group of international experts on aerosol measurements, regional aerosol modelling, stakeholders and social scientists. The action is chaired by Dr. Sara Basart (Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Spain). Prof. Bernadett Weinzierl is deputy leader of working group 1 (“dust observations”).
