Breathing is enough – the role of aerosol particles in spreading SARS-CoV-2

Join us on Monday, 11th of July for a talk with Dr. phil. nat. Gerhard Scheuch in a Plenary Lecture and Get-together.

In his lecture Dr. phil. nat. Scheuch wil take a look at the way aerosol particles are generated within the lungs, present evidence that SARS-CoV-2 is transmitted via the air and discuss measures to help prevent the airborne spread of the virus.

 

This event is part of the Summer School "Basic Aerosol Science 2022", which takes place between the 10th and 16th of July at the University of Vienna. The Summer School "Basic Aerosol Science” offers a broad education in basic principles and techniques of aerosol science. The teachers of this years Summer School are leading European experts in the field of aerosol science.
