New study in Nature: Biofuel blending reduces soot emissions from aircraft

A new study in the scientific journal Nature shows that a fuel blend with 50 percent biofuel reduces soot particle emissions of aircraft by 50 to 70 percent compared to conventional fuel.

The summer school offers a broad education in aerosol science. Besides lectures there will be discussions, and a field experiment. The teachers of this summer school are European leading experts in the field of aerosol science.

Elections to the board of the Gesellschaft für Aerosolforschung (GAeF):

Prof. Dr. Helmuth Horvath is the new president of the GAeF, vice-president is now Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bernadett Weinzierl.
